Hello, I’m Lisa. I was born in Ukraine and raised in California. This site is an attempt to consolidate many of the disparate things I do. While I usually have a favorite project at any particular time, almost all of these are amoebous and ongoing.

I graduated from UCSB with a BA in Economics in 2018, after which I ran operations for a small technical theatre company in the Bay Area until October 2022. Now I’m doing freelance technical writing and riding my bike.

Unless stated otherwise, all materials published on this site are created by me. These materials are made available for anyone to use free of charge for non-commercial projects and with attribution, and of course anything covered under fair use is chill too. Email me if you would like to use any of my content for commercial projects.

Where materials are stated to come from other places, I tend to only use things that are comparably free to use, but see the links provided to the source material for more information.

Accuracy and out of date information

Things on this website are moderately piecemeal, and therefore I don’t always notice a link on any given page is out of date. While I certainly make an effort to fix such things when they come up, I would very much appreciate a heads-up at contact@setsailfor.space if something’s not working as seems intended, if you’ve got the time and inclination.

As of late 2020/early 2021, page updates should include a “Last update” or “Last updated” tag on the bottom right. Older pages may not have date tags.

Privacy

This website is hosted on SquareSpace. I haven’t set up ads but would recommend Ghostery or AdGuardPro to block any lingering trackers.
